I'm an italian user. What if I decide to translate the application in my language? Do I have the chance to translate it? How?

Thank you for replies.

Hmm the only words that need to be translated is

Folders
Files
Playlists
New
Load
Save
Rename
Delete
Shuffle
Repeat
Artist
Song Name
Time
Online
Logged on
Last streamed

Thats for the skin and a few of the alert boxes. But that will cause for a major modification to allow languages.

If I may offer a suggestion to siit, though this may be a big change to make, to take after the model used by XUL applications ([url38vohzbw]http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XUL_Tutorial:XUL_Structure[/url38vohzbw]). Essentially, references in the XML files for the skin don't have any actual text they instead have references and IDs. Then, separate files for each locale can be created, with the references and IDs defined as appropriate in each language. The benefit of such a scenario, while slightly cumbersome, is that it is remarkably easy to "plug in" other languages very rapidly, and for generic users with little experience working with XML and Javascript to translate Vibe Streamer into their native languages, thus increasing your potential audience.

Or...you could just make people manually create skins for each language, which is a hell of a lot easier on you. D

Thanks for the great suggestion. I've actually thought about implementing language support in the server, but I haven't really figured out how to use it in the skins. This seems like a good idea and when I redesign the standard skin I'll see what this can do for me.

Until then I won't make any language-support-changes in the current standard skin, so if you want that translated you'll have to do it on your own )

Thank you for your good suggestion. I'm actually planning to implement Language Server, but I have not really understood how to use it in skins. This seems like a good idea, and when I re-design of the standard leather, let's see what it can do for me.

Until then, I do not do anything to change language-support-the current standard of the skin, so if you want that turned you have to go it alone mrgreen
