The flash player ( player.swf) that comes with the standard skin is pretty basic. there is a need to enhance the same.. to include some very common features such as stop button, mute.. to name a few. moreover skinning it using external params..
since the original fla file is not released to public, skinning it to match the skinned site(client-playlist) is difficult... nevertheless,I made few changes to the player to include the features that I wanted(stop,mute etc)..also skinned it with new winamp default look.

oh,and jboomm i can not tell people how you can make this in flashmx,thats gonna be a long reply!!
but soon i share a link , where you can download a zipfile with the player and background-panel in it
