Hi all!
I have a CS clan and well, were a bunch of freeloaders, lol. we are looking for a VOIP program like Ventrilo/Teamspeak/Gamecomm/Clanspeak/Rogerwilco. right, now those are the only ones i know of. We are looking for a FREEEEEEEE program like one of those, that lets u create channels etc....., gives u a free server (NOT ONE THAT U HAVE TO RUN FROM UR COMPUTER), and doesnt really lag alot. this basically crosses vent and teamspeak off the list. roger wilco, i think u have to pay for, and its also basically a piece of crap. clanspeak i tried but it makes my whole system run slow, and it wuldnt let me bind my MOUSE 4 key. this leaves Gamecomm. i currently use gamecomm, except since it is in beta, the server goes down alot, thers lots of bugs. etc. etc. so culd any of u please recommend a program like this that my clan culd use. ALL ABSOLUTELY FREE?!?!?! lol, thanks all for reading the long post

Is it possible to convert an Ethernet port on my router to a VoIP port? I have a router which I paid good money for (dual band N router) and want to start using my VoIP option that came with my ISP. However my router does not have a VoIP port and I don't want to pay more money for a new router. Can I convert one of my Ethernet ports so I can connect a phone to it.

I don't see why not. Otherwise, look on Craigslist.com You will be amazed at all of the different routers and telecom accessories that you will find on there for oh so very little cost!
Good luck, my friend-

Mumble owns both ventrilo and teamspeak when it comes down to latency, and that is rather important when it comes to gaming. I have tried using Mumble/Teamspeak 3 and these are the best I have used. Try this! Hope this helps!
