Ability to Play All of my Music

I have a few shared folders, and I just want the ability to say "Play Everything" with the additional bonus feature of being able to shuffle and repeat.

Also if I have my files in sub-directories (ie; c\music\Tool\Lateralus\Opiate.mp3) and I create a share to c\music .. I can add directories (such as Tool) however, it doesn't find the mp3 files in that directory and fails. It should recurse subdirectories )

Thanks

Ok i will try to mess around in the skin to add a feature to play everything.

For you second problem. Do you mean if you have a folder with music and another folder in it, it will skip indexing the contents of the music of the fodler and carry on with jsut indexing the folder in the folder.

Because I find that all my music wherever it is, is indexed properly.

Sorry, I didn't get enough sleep. I'll write a letter of apology to Maynard tonight. It shouldn't be that hard to remember that Opiate is on Opiate )

Cool ! That is the main feature that I want that was missing. If you can get 'Shuffle' in that would be nice too.

First , my directory structure is as such
\music\Artist\Album\.mp3

In the skin, if a folder has other folders within it, and you double-click the root folder on the left hand side, it brings up a list of the subfolders with a pretty green + sign on the right. If I click on \music\Tool for example, I can queue up all of Lateralus by clicking on the green + next to 'Lateralus'.

The issue is if I double click on \music it brings up a list of all the artists on the right. If I click on the green + next to 'Tool' (I want to play all Tool darn it ) ), it says "No audio files could be found in the folder". It doesn't search every subfolder underneath that (

Hopefully I explained myself properly.

Also for your shuffle problem, if i make a button to add all music then couldnt you use the shuffle feature in the player?

Yeah you are right, I thought the mechanism would be different, but I get what you are saying.

Hi esac!

Concerning the recursion problem, I provided a solution. Please take a look at the topic 'Vie recursion' in the 'skining and modifications" forum.

New user - Did the feature to easliy play everything get added?

This seems like an importnat feature.

If not, dragging folder or adding folder (all layers) seems like an important workaround where it would be easy to create a playlist without having to add each of the many albums into it.
