Just curious how this is being handled in VibeStreamer. I see that the bit rate is locked at the first rate of the first bit transferred. For example a VBR track I'm playing now is showing 203kbps in the GUI. Are the VBR tracks then locked in at that rate?
When trying to fetch the bitrate for an mp3 with VBR the average bitrate is displayed. I'm pretty sure though that Adobe Flash plays the file in with the correct given VBR, otherwise it would require real time transcoding which I'm pretty sure it doesn't do.
