All,

I used to use vibe streamer all the time with no problems on my old home server (Win XP.) Two weeks ago I replaced my home server with a new Dell PC with Windows 7 professional and installed Vibe Streamer. I setup my router correctly, but I cannot access Vibe from the outside. Then I tried accessing Vibe directly on my new server using http//localhost8080 (I changed the default port.) and I still cannot access Vibe! I also noticed that I have no log files generated, but maybe that's normal until someone can actually connect to Vibe. I've read several posts here today with similar issues, but none of the fixes for those issues solved mine. Please help!!
Thanks
Pasqual

A quick update, I found 2 more posts that seemd to relate to my issues

I tried the fix of deleting the additional Vibe Streamer directory that is located in the C\Users\pzottola\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\ folder, After I stopped the Vibe Streamer service and exited the program, but that didn't work either.

This is so darn odd, because there is nothing that should be stopping Vibe from being accessed via localhost!!! Is this a Windows 7 issue???

IT WORKS! In my haste, I never clicked the START button to start the Vibe server after I restarted it. I assumed that it would start automatically. Anyway, it is working now, so I guess for Windows Vista and Windows 7 you must delete the extra Vibe Streamer folder in C\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\
The stratnge thing is that once you restart Vibe Streamer, it recreates the same folder in the same place, but Vibe starts working. Anyone have more info on this?!?
Thanks All!
