Is there or will there be any support for the AAC format? I hope so because thats what the majority of my stuff is encoded as.
Regards
EDIT
I found a way to add my aac by adding hte mime type for .m4a/mp4
only problem is it launches it in quicktime which is ok but this means i Can't queue them or playlist them then right?

How did you enable the AAC files - I can't seem to find an easy soultion (i am a n00b)!
Was it through Settings>>Manage File and MIMI types>>[Shared File Types] Add>>[File Extension] aac & [MIME Type] audio ??
I must be doing something wrong as I still can't get my aac files to appear

I don't think I have the right MIME types to be honest

What mime type are you using and did you reindex your share?

I labelled them (naively!) as you can see above "aac" then "audio" - do you think they should be "m4u" files?
I have re-indexed but nothings changed, probably due to the above

try aac as the file ext and
audio/MP4A-LATM
as the mime type.
