I'm having lots of problems with this software on my machine. I can connect find and play a few songs fine, but when i put together large playlists and let them play the session generally times out after just a couple songs. It will then give me the "Error loading track" error message. I've been playing with the timeout numbers in the settings section with no luck. Note this is all from outside my firewall. I have the latest version of the software. Anything i can do to fix this cause its REALLY frustrating.

I wanna first say this is a great idea, i've been looking for something like this forever and this software is great. If you ever decide to open source it, i'd be eager to help on the project.

What browser are you using? I know there was an issue regarding timouts and Mozilla Firefox in the past but I'm not entirely sure whether it got solved or not. The best help I can give you is to try another browser. I use Opera and I get no timeouts, IE works well here as well.

Try out with FireFox and Opera for a while and report how if it made any difference, it would really help in the development to see if there were any changes.

Do you have access to update your flash player? I was having the same issues with IE and Flash 6. I updated to 9 and the issue is gone..... so far. D

Oh yes, flash 6 is wayy too low D as the documentation sais, always make sure you have the latest version of flash installed on your browser.

I am using IE 7 and the latest version of Flash. The default timeout of course is 120 secs. I tried leaving the feild blank, but I still timeout after 2 minutes. I also tried setting it to 24 hrs (43200 secs.), but I still timeout after 2 minutes. I tried reducing it to 12 hrs (21600 secs.), and again, I timeout after 2 mins. I don't want my users to timeout, any way to get around this?

UPDATE I set both timeouts to the same settings above.

It seems so far, that I have solved my own problem. After I changed the timeout settings, I completely exited and restarted the program (close the program in the taskbar). So far, it looks as if it worked. I wll keep you all posted if anything changes.
