Hi,
Before the official release of 3.0.0, I ran the betas up until a certain release (don't remember which one). But after one of the beta releases, I started getting a 403 Forbidden error after submitting my credentials so I went back to 2.06.
I tried installing the official release of 3.0.0 today and am still getting this error2.06 works fine on my computer, but I would love to be able to use 3.0. It looks like 3.0 imported my music folders and user accounts.
Any ideas on what is wrong? I am running windows 7 64bit.
Thanks for any help[/quotebx5xdb8l]
Try uninstalling the installed version, delete the folder from program files. Re-Install the new version, create a user, assign a music folder, index the folders, start the server, delete all browser cache and try http//localhost8081

[quote9kkvjgie]woohoo! figured it out. it was saving my db files in my AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86) files.. [/quote9kkvjgie]
That's a real weird one. The DB files should be located in the folder "db" below the directory where you installed Vibe Streamer..
Does anyone else have this problem or can you confirm that the db files are actually located where they should be now?[/quote9kkvjgie]
Confirmed under Windows 7 Professional. As a matter of fact that's where the missing settings.xml file is located now. It contains the folders, conf, db, and logs and the settings.xml file. This folder is hidden by default.

silly question.. but do you mean that it's a confirmed bug or what? if so, can you give me the exact path of your Vibe Streamer directory as well as the exact path of the directory of your settings/db files?[/quote2nj4wdg8]
It's not a bug, rather it's the default behavior when installing Vibe Streamer in Windows 7. Path C\Users\Philip\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Vibe Streamer
