I have stared at the application for hours and cant figure it out. 2.0.6 had the start button available but version 3.0 does not.

The reason why you cannot start the server is because you're using a larger font size on your windows installation. The Vibe Streamer server GUI doesn't adjust the size of its window and since the buttons in 3.0.0 is located in the bottom right corner, they're appearing "outside" your window.

There is no fix for this at the moment except using the default font size for your windows desktop setup, but for next version I'll add a start/stop functionality to the main menu, that should fix it for you.

If you want to start the server as it is now, I'd recommend you to shut down the application, edit the file "settings.xml" in your Vibe Streamer directory, setting <autoStart>true</autoStart>

That should start it up automatically the next time you run the application..

That makes sense, the server doubles as a htpc, Thanks for putting me on the right track, In order to save the settings I had to set the DPI to normal (96) in the settings menu and restart. The settings menu has a save button as well that gets pushed off the page by the larger font size.

BTW, nice upgrade to the interface with ext.

I just ran into the same problem, but there is no "settings.xml" file in the VibeStreamer installation directory. Where is it? Is it only created after the initial server start?
