Hello,
does streaming [i2oxlmp1t]not[/i2oxlmp1t] imply that you can jump at any place in a song "without" the need to download the whole song before playing. (progressive download)
?
How do I enable the streaming feature ?

cheers

No, streaming simply means that a buffer is cached so that music or video play back is uninterrupted. Slower Internet connections would require a larger buffer.

That said, it would be nice to jump to a location in a track and have the buffering start at selected time.

Ok,
I thought that since Red5 or FMS is also a streaming server and lets you jump ;)
I currently have a server which runs red5 but no time to develope the player since I am mainly a musician D

Here something like this would be awesome
http//www.thecloudplayer.com/

But not depending on soundcloud.

How is such kind of technology called when not streaming ?
