I was successfully running the Vibe Streamer Server on my home computer from my work computer as recently as yesterday. but today, I am unable to connect to it. (The only thing that changed was the internal address, from 192.168.1.101 to 192.168.1.100, but I made the change in the port forwarding area so that my port 2053 forwarded me to the new internal ip address, but it does not work using either internal ip address. (

What could have suddenly changed my ability to connect?

Thanks for all of your past help with these issues.

Has your internal IP changed. it happened to me once and it was confusing me.

Yeah that is likely the issue. It could also be that your boss or the IT-administrator noticed you use a lot of bandwidth and shut down access to your home network. It's very much possible for them to do so, it happened to me a few years back. (

Try using port 80 to verify that your work is not blocking your current port (this assumes your work doesn't block port 80).

Below, is an email that I sent to you today. Man, I was really disappointed that I could no longer connect to my Vibe Stream server.

I went back up to the Support area of the Forum, and I re-read a post that you put up there, indicating that most business servers allow ports 80, 441 and sometimes 21, so I decided, for the heck of it, to go back to my McAfee firewall, Linksys Router and Vibe Stream server, and to change all of them from port 2053 (unsuccessful), 8080 (unsuccessful), to a simple port 80, the common port used to connect even on most business servers to the Internet, and what do you know, but I connected to my Vibe Stream server, and I am now enjoying my music once again!!

Thanks for the post you left on the Forum that dealt with exactly my issue!! I appreciate it!!
