Cannot enter some MIME types

I'm using Vibe Streamer to not only stream music, etc., but also for access to some of my documents, ebooks, and more away from home. I was able to easily add some mime types to those supported and detected on the server, but there is a character limit on the textbox for the mime type, so if I try "application/octet-stream" I can't enter the entire string. Easy to fix, but frustrating on my end. )

On the note of MIME types, the current control interface for them is somewhat awkward. Perhaps it would be better to simply make a list of mime types that the user can add to or remove from, and use checkboxes for the options to be shared and registered? Also, along with "add"and "remove", "edit" could be useful in the case of a typo.

Just some suggestions. And in case I haven't said so already, I'm utterly addicted- you've done a wonderful job on this project!

As a quick-fix for you if you want to enter the mimetypes with longer names, shut down Vibe Streamer and open up 'vibestreamer.xml' in the directory where you installed Vibe Streamer. There you can enter the mime types manually. Just be careful and make sure you create valid XML tags or the server will be a bit confused and create you a new settings file. When you're done, start up Vibe Streamer again and the new MIME settings will be read.

Thanks a lot, siit. Thanks for using XML files for the settings, allowing for this convenient workaround.
