Why is not possible to edit 'Group' properties so that I may just add new users to that group, thus the user inherits that group's properties?

While on the subject, how about the ability to deny rights?
For example, if I were to have a bunch of people in a "Friends" group and they all had access to ten different directories. However, there's one person that I want to have all the exact same permissions, except I don't want them to be able to access one of the ten directories. I would then just be able to deny them the rights to that directory.
humm, well I see where it can be useful. Although at the moment it would take a lot of work since the sharing must work a completely different way if this functionality should be implemented.
It's probably nothing I'll put top priority on, but I do see the point with such functionality so it reaches my "wishlist" to begin with.
