Not indexing directories

Hey folks, new to Vibe...

So, I got it set up and it looks good. Got some folders added, no problems so far.

My problem is, however, that the directories I'm wanting to publish aren't indexing. So, nothing shows up in the right pane in the player.

Anyone have any thoughts? I guy here next to me in the office did exactly what I did and his works fine. We have company issued PCs that are identical, yet his works and mine doesn't.

Any thoughts? Anyone know why directories might not index? It always reports that it takes 0 seconds to index 5 files (51MB).

Are all your tracks mp3's. I don't think vibe supports anything but mp3 format.

Yep, all MP3s. In fact, on my co-workers' system he can view text files and pictures, too. I can't see anything...

Did you enable your account to be able to view the folders in the sharing tab?

this happened to me! and i solved it!

my problem was i had a song on a folder that somehow (don't ask 'cus i don't know) prevented everything from showing up. even though they would index on the server console.

to solve it i just started removing stacks of songs until i found the little mp3 bug song! it's just weird but yeah! that happened to me!
