Internet Explorer dont work.

I installed Vibe Streamer and configed it as in the documentary. I tested it on my Firefox browser and worked perfect, asked for my user name and password which was entered and everything came up as you would expect and music played after making my selection. I then tried the same in Internet Explorer but I keep getting "Page cant be displayed" error, I thought Vibe Streeamer works with Internet Explorer. What seems to be wrong? My Internet is working fine but only fails when I try to connect to my MP3 server via Vibe Streamer when using Internet Explorer.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? It's working fine for me with IE 6 and IE 7 by just going to http//myhomeaddress8081.

And is the IE that doesn't work and the Firefox that does on the same computer?

I had the same problem, i found the solution

Internet explorer doesn't prefix the address with http//

so if you just type the 0.0.0.08081 it won't work

you need to type it whole http//0.0.0.08081

as for firefox, it works fine either way
