Hi, I really like this service and it's great for me who is sitting (on a PC with WinXp) behind a corporate firewall, but still can listen to my music on my home computer.
However my girlfriend can't access the streamer site from her work. She is using Macintosh and probably sitting behind firewall(s), proxy(?) as well.
Are there specific problems with Macintosh and this service or could I just change the port number? I'm currently using port 8081. If so, what can i try? Which port number will work?
No replys. Guess this is not a active forum. Anyways.. now using port 80. Works very well.
For pratical reasons I've installed Vibestreamer on another computer.. that is running 24/7.. good! But for some reason when I run netstat, port 80 is already in use.. and about 20 more ports are just like that. Ok then, port 8081 works fine but not from work. What ports would most likely be accessible from work? Any thoughts?

Check to make sure your IIS (Internet Information Services) isnt running and using the ports, especially port 80, which is it's default port.
