Again with the external network problem

I have been reading most of the most on the board aboutt his topic and still none of them have helped me sort my problem.

I can access vibe streamer on my laptop when it is running on another machine but when i go onto the external network ip it dnt work atol.

I have forwarded my ports and still isnt working
Have disabled firewalls
Tryed running it on another PC

and nothin has worked

any ideas?

My laptop runs vista and pc runs XP Home

If i understand you right you say for example if i were to go onto yours (try) it wouldnt work.

Being on a network when running this and for most cases other software you can only reach it via example http//10.0.0.18081 (or 2,3,4 ... etc depending on ammount connected or being used)

But a friend can go on it via my ip address its a wierd thing.

But also make sure (usually happens after router reset etc) that your port is back on. Try going in nav bar to 10.0.0.1 (2 3 .. etc whatever works) or 10.0.0.138 that should bring up router settings or wireless etc. Then enter info on the napt settings (ip and port (outgoing can be left blank but input the port) . Make sure its local ip not for example 172.43.35.355 etc.
