Hey guys,
I have a Linksys Router. I have forwarded the 8081 port to my internal IP.
When trying to access the service via my external ip it fails to connect. When I try to connect via internal IP it connects fine. For whatever reason I can't connect from an outside source. I do not have a firewall and once again, my port forwarding is setup correctly.
Any ideas?

there are a couple things I would check, if you are sure you port forwarding is working correctly my next question is do you have a static or dynamic address from your isp? If it is dynamic what are the chances that it has been renewed and you are trying to access it externally from the wrong address?
the next thing i would need to know is your os and the model of router you are using.
